It’s your reaction to adversity not adversity itself that determines how your life story will develop. ~ Dieter F. Uchtrorf
The above quote sums up how I come to be serving my sentence here at Dayton Correctional. I accepted a plea deal I was never in agreement in Mind, Body, nor soul. I let adversity (and negligent counsel) take my fight from me. I was hopeless, heartbroken and like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Vol. 2, I was buried alive. Like her I am clawing my way up through the dirt to fight. I am not only fighting to overturn my conviction but more importantly to clear my name of something I would have never done under any circumstances. I am innocent! I always have been and always will be!
I know I began there, but my case is not all, Who, I am. I am free spirited woman who has had and still have varied experiences of life. I like music, dancing and exercising. Reading, pondering and pondering philosophies of life. All in all I enjoy and welcome what makes me smile and laugh.
I would not only like to meet people to help me pass time but to connect, learn, and grow from. Also maybe just maybe impart some joy in each other’s life.
Well since you have made it this far… Reach out and see what journey that hello might take you!
