First and foremost, I love God and do not know where I’d be today without His endless love and protection. God has blessed me with two beautiful children who continue to strengthen me daily and give my life meaning and purpose. Today I find ways to express myself and ways to have fun despite my current circumstances. Anything from Praise Dancing, Zumba, Yoga, Reading, and meditating keeps me constantly alive and learning more and more about who I am.
Laughter and humor is the key to my heart because I literally get through each day staying positive, keeping perspective, and I plan to laugh my way right onto the other side. My life is rooted in recovery today and I couldn’t be more proud of that decision. Today I honor the fact that I have lead my peers by sharing my perspective on overcoming what seemed like a lifetime of addiction and heartache.
I’m loving this opportunity to create this profile because I simply love meeting other people because I feel I always search deep and learn so much from new connections. Most would say I’m pretty outgoing and I’d have to agree, however there are also moments where listening to someone story and hearing about there day is so special to just sit back and take in. I take in as much inspiration I can! I can’t seem to get enough of quotes and beautiful song lyrics and self-help books! Sometimes I feel like I can make my own music in my head as I read the words and couple my dreams together in my mind…envisioning me crushing all my goals when I am home.
Regardless of where I am today, my heart and mind feels free and I’d love to meet a pen pal to build new healthy relationships. I’m sure we can both offer love and support especially during these times.
