I have been incarcerated since 2015 and will be released in 2025 or sooner. Over the course of the past eight and a half years I have facilitated a trauma group focused on family violence, childhood hood and domestic abuse, obtained my certification to work in a Law Library, a vocational in General Business, completed all mandatory programs, and earned my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. I currently work for the department of motor vehicles as a call center representative, and almost completed Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and am attending classes offered by Colombia Business School on Entrepreneurship. At this point in my bid, I am solely seeking an accumulation of mental, emotional, financial support & resources needed not only during incarceration but also transitioning back into society after nearly a decade as I am trying to hit the ground running opening my own business upon my release. I look forward to meeting genuine people I can network and/or build meaningful relationships with.
