I’m writing this profile for my special friend, Kayla. She sent me several profiles she wrote, but none of them really seems to catch her (like the police did!). You pretty much have to write/chat with her to get to know her.

She has some time to do. She has come to grips with her situation, and how she got there, and settled in. She’s not bitter and angry like most prison inmates, she doesn’t whine and complain about everything like most prison inmates. She’s actually really positive. It’s been a very hard being away from her family, namely her beautiful daughter, and as too often is the case, family just isn’t family anymore when you get put in prison.

She’s an extrovert so she needs more friends to keep her busy. She’s a great penpal and will often write looong letters, and if you get her on the phone, she may talk a lot :/ Hahaha…… So if you decide to write and become friends with her, please be kind and attach a return stamp.
