I’m a woman in my early 30s doing time. Life in here is pretty boring and routine, so good letters are honestly the highlight of my week. I’m easygoing, have a decent sense of humor, and I like hearing about regular life — work, music, random thoughts, whatever you’re into. I read a lot, listen to whatever music I can get my hands on, and I’m the type who will actually reply instead of vanishing.
I’m not looking for anything dramatic. Just someone who’s reliable, doesn’t mind writing to someone on the inside, and can handle a conversation that isn’t all “what’s prison like?”
Side note: the commissary situation is what it is, and a little extra support goes a long way toward keeping the boredom away and the letters coming. But mostly I’m just looking for someone who wants a real back-and-forth.
