I am currently incarcerated after defending myself in a domestic violence situation, and I refuse to let this moment define my entire story.
I am not a victim I am a survivor. I chose self-preservation. I chose to live. This season is not my downfall; it is my rebuilding. While I may be confined physically, my mind and spirit are expanding every day. I am strengthening my discipline, deepening my faith, educating myself, and preparing for the life I will return to with clarity and purpose. I believe in breaking cycles of trauma. I believe in accountability, growth, and healing. Most of all, I believe in standing up for yourself, even when the world misunderstands your strength. My circumstances are temporary. My resilience is permanent. This chapter is about transformation, not defeat. I am doing the work now so that when I walk free, I walk wiser, stronger, and unstoppable. My story isn’t over it’s evolving.
