Stacy Jene Johnson
Well hello, handsome…
If you’re reading this, then something about me must have caught your eye. Maybe it was my smile, maybe it was curiosity, or maybe you just have excellent taste.
I’m a woman in my late 40s who treats coffee like a sacred morning ritual, usually accompanied by a podcast about history, psychology, or some wonderfully niche rabbit hole. My nightstand looks like a literary crime scene—three novels, a memoir, and a bookmark permanently stranded halfway through all of them. I’ve been known to take an unplanned exit off the highway just because a roadside sign promised pie, antiques, or something called “the world’s largest” anything.
Friends would tell you I’m the person who remembers how you take your coffee six months later, asks the follow-up question nobody else thinks to ask, and can somehow turn a casual chat into a debate about whether people reveal more about themselves through their bookshelves or their refrigerators.
I have a weakness for dry wit, conversations with actual substance, and people who don’t need a carefully polished persona to be interesting. On a typical weekend, I might be attempting a recipe that requires entirely too many ingredients, hunting through a farmers market for something I’ve never cooked before, bingeing a crime series while insisting I’ve already solved it, or disappearing into a bookstore and emerging an hour later with an armful of purchases and no memory of time passing. I admire curiosity, kindness, and people whose lives have accumulated a few good stories and a little character along the way.
I’m drawn to men who know who they are, don’t need to announce it, and can move effortlessly between playful banter and a conversation that keeps us both up later than intended. Chemistry is great; genuine intrigue is even better.
I’ve been told I have a talent for getting people to tell me things they didn’t expect to share. Maybe it’s because I’m genuinely fascinated by what makes people tick—the odd passions, hard-earned lessons, ridiculous adventures, and unfinished ambitions that don’t fit neatly into a profile.
I value loyalty, humor, and a man who can contribute more than one-word answers. Extra credit if you’ve restored an old motorcycle, collect something delightfully obscure, can identify constellations, make excellent barbecue, or have a story that sounds completely fabricated until you prove otherwise.
So tell me about yourself. What’s the subject you can talk about for hours without getting bored? What’s the most impulsive thing you’ve ever done? And what kind of woman makes you stop scrolling?
I can’t promise where our conversations will lead, but I can promise genuine curiosity, thoughtful replies, and a personality that comes with strong opinions about books, films, and where to find the dessert worth driving across town for. If that sounds appealing, we may get along famously.
Don’t leave me wondering. Tell me something most people would never guess about you, and what brought you here in the first place. I’m always interested in a good story.
XOXO,
A sweet lady with a mischievous smile, an open mind, and plenty of room in her life for the right connection.
